M/s. Rochi Engineers are planning to go in for most sophisticated , sate of the art Plant. The plant will house modern CNC machines and can also accept lay-outs to suit new customers requirements. Till this plant commences production, existing facilities are adequate to give a head start for Tooling of the all the parts based on the time schedule put forward by new customer. Rochi also supply as ASN?S from their existing units.

For all the items whose requirement is within hundred, Rochi Engineers have SPM?S developed for circle cutting, dubbing which economizes the investment. It is truly not so economical proposition for developing tools for Blanking or multiple operation dies, for low volume items, but with adequate Jig fixtures for regular production the specification can be met within the tolerance.

Present capacity of 2000 units of Mufflers per month would go to 5000units per month in March 2006.

Rochi Engineers is ISO 9001-2000 company with a scope to design, manufacture of exhaust system for automotive and allied application.

WEAKNESS:
Facilities for testing of muffler is to be set up as up till now, they have been relying on facilities available with their customers (Engine Manufacturers).

At Present validation of design is being done by the customer on the Engine itself. The testing and certifying houses like Automobile Research Association of India, Pune have facilities to validate muffler for back pressure without engine.

Perhaps new customer can make use of their own Engine Manufacturing base in India for validation designs for noise absorption for these newly developed models.
